About the First Pennsylvania Mustang Club
How the First Pennsylvania Mustang Club Started
The First Pennsylvania Mustang Club was formed in April 1979 when a group of enthusiasts joined together to share the pleasures and experiences that go along with the Mustang. We are an active and family-oriented club serving car enthusiasts and residents in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery and Northampton counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania. We’re a Charter Chapter of The Mustang Club of America (MCA), which is headquartered in Pensacola, FL. Any relatives, friends and guests are always welcome at a club meeting or outing. As members in the club, we work hard to continue this friendly environment and growth.
How the First Pennsylvania Mustang Club Operates
Monthly meetings are the second Thursday of the month, held at McCoole’s Arts and Events Center (next to McCoole’s at Historic Red Lion Inn) at 10 S Main Street, Quakertown, PA 18951. Two months of the year we typically have 2 special meetings; in July is our Annual Picnic and in December is our Christmas Dinner. Changes from this will be emailed to our members and changed on the club website. The meetings are scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm and on occasion we will have a guest speaker or special program. We have had representatives from many companies speak at our Monthly Meeting. Prior to having a guest speaker, there will be announcements at the meetings, emails sent out and the web site would be updated.
We have hosted four MCA Grand National Car Shows, three in King of Prussia and one at Split Rock Lodge in the Poconos. In 2024 we hosted a spring show, the first Promenade on Wheels on the last Saturday night in April. On the second Sunday in August we hosted our annual car show, the 48th Annual Car Show and Flea Market, at Macungie Memorial Park in Macungie, PA. Then in October, we moved out last event of the year to a cruise in a return to the Promenade.
Some other activities include the picnic, held at St Isidore’s Parish Pavilion in Quakertown, our monthly cruises and the annual Christmas Dinner. As a club we have also gone on various trips: The Gast Car Museum in Lancaster, Pa, a tour and demonstration at Eastwood Company in Malvern, PA, Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, the AACA museum, just to name a few. We also participate in other local car shows as club events.
Some companies offer discounts to Club Members.
The membership dues for one year are $20 for a family membership. Learn more about joining the club.
Please keep an eye on the website for any new information regarding shows, cruises, general information and where the club will be going. If there are any questions or concerns please contact the President or email the club at 1stpamustang@gmail.com.
